About the Role
As the Deputy Director of Pharmacy Services, you will manage the day-to-day operations of designated Pharmacy Services, ensuring alignment with SA Pharmacy's strategic priorities.
Your role will involve coordinating and supervising a dedicated team of professional staff, support staff, interns, and students while driving education, orientation, and development initiatives.
By overseeing the provision of comprehensive pharmacy services, you will play a key part in optimising patient outcomes and upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
In this dynamic position, you will also contribute to shaping drug policy and procedure development through active committee participation, ensuring compliance with state and federal legislation, PBS regulations, and contemporary practice standards.
Your professional expertise will guide the planning, execution, and analysis of complex operations while fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Qualifications and Registration: Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and current or eligible registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead teams, implement strategies to enhance service delivery, and inspire trust and confidence among multidisciplinary staff.
Skills and Expertise: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
Experience and Knowledge: Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, professional competency in dispensing and counselling, and strong understanding of relevant standards, codes, and practices.
