Role Overview: We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Electrical Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is essential to the success of the project, and no two days are the same. We are seeking skilled engineers who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components for next-generation Defence technologies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and functionality of electrical systems. Based in Canberra, you will be involved in a watercraft project to strengthen the ADF's amphibious capabilities.

Daily Responsibilities: Provide planning advice and guidance on Seaworthiness Assurance and Certification activities. Manage Facilities Integration Request for Information responses. Provide Technical Subject Matter Expert advice to develop the Design contract and Prime Acquisition Contract Statement of Work, Data Item Descriptions, and RFT Packages. Support the development of the Function and Performance Specifications. Support Technical Tender Evaluation Working Groups. Review contract deliverables and identify technical risks. Obtain Delegated Technical Authority under Landworthiness. Required Skills: Experience within a Defence Maritime environment. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience in Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects (desirable). Strong communication skills. Process-oriented with good attention to detail.
