About the Opportunity:
Having recently been awarded the ANI Link Road project and an ECI with SA Water, the South Australian region of Acciona Construction Australia is undergoing significant growth and we are looking for a Senior Planner to join our Adelaide team.
As a Senior Planner, you will produce a program for the activities for civil engineering construction projects during the tender, delivery, and completion phases of projects which also involves scheduling, reviewing project progress against the baseline project program, and reporting as and when required.
Key Accountabilities for the Position:
Management and production of programs developed from first principles using the project scope of works, design documentation, and project delivery strategies. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders' input to develop accurate project programs. Assign plant, labor, and materials resources into the project program and produce histograms and s-curves to support the project controls process. Convert tender/bid program into the contract master program. Development of the program management plan and all other program supporting documentation. Manage time-risk and time-opportunities and responsible for project schedule risk analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) and the allocation of time contingency into the master program. Regular site visits and record the progression of the project works. Progress updates and reporting on the project program in consultation with the relevant stakeholders. Assist with the identification and application of approved and non-approved changes to the programme and analyze cause and effect from such changes. Required Skills and Competencies:
Planning experience in a construction/engineering environment. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate sound judgment, including balancing competing priorities. In-depth knowledge of P6, project scheduling, and program logic networking. Demonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning methodologies. A focus on communication and ability to build working relationships. Strong problem-solving/analytical skills. What We Offer:
