About the Role The Esther Breakfast Food & Beverage Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service and have a memorable experience every morning.
Greet and Seat Guests: Warmly welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide them with menus.Take Orders: Knowledgeably describe menu items, answer questions, and take orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure they are presented according to standard.Check on Guests: Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the area clean and well-organised, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.Handle Payments: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately.Upsell and Promote: Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests' experience.Handle Guest Requests: Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability.Skills & Experience Demonstrated previous experience of at least 12 months in a similar role.The ability to work under pressure in one of Auckland's busiest Hotel Restaurants.Passion for culinary excellence.Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills.Team player.Sound knowledge of current food trends.At EVT, we want our people to experience our businesses and be brand and experience advocates.
