ABOUT THE ROLE The Truss & Frame Branch Manager of our manufacturing plant will lead, coach and mentor a group of highly skilled individuals across the plant, including our administration, design, production, yard and logistics teams.
Your focus will be to ensure that the heart of the operation, which is the truss and frame production, is operating to high standards to meet customer schedules.
You will ensure delivery schedules are met and exceeded daily and your customers are always kept informed regarding their delivery status.
You will report directly to the Regional Manager who will provide support, coaching and mentoring to see you grow the business to its full potential.
Relationship building and keeping those relationships alive is pivotal to this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE Ensuring the manufacturing plant is operating to high degrees, including the delivery of quality product, service, sales and exceeding profitsFocusing on efficiency and ensuring you meet customer expectationsOverseeing stock inventory management, monthly reporting and annual regular forecastingPlanning and preparing rosters to ensure adequate coverage and service levels during manufacturing timesMeasuring and proactively managing production output dailyCreating and implementing processes and strategies for improving the overall performance of the plantManaging branch operations, administration and reporting requirementsPlanning, developing and implementing strategies to achieve budgets, targets and objectivesDriving and managing a high performing team, committed to providing outstanding customer serviceBuilding trusting relationships with key customers and understanding their businessesBuilding strong relationships with our sales teamsEnsuring high safety standards are maintained and a strong safety culture is prioritised.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Previous industry experience in manufacturing, trade/retail, hardware, or a similar environment will be highly desirable although not essentialExcellent negotiation and influencing skills and be commercially astuteStrong, positive relationship building abilities with internal and external customersExcellent written and oral communication skills with high level attention to detail and accuracyMedium level Microsoft Excel skills would be highly beneficialDemonstrated ability to resolve issues in a positive manner through negotiation and consultation with other team members and stakeholdersTeam player – build a culture and structure – a true leaderSomeone who can lead, motivate and influenceHigh awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitorsFinally, have a 'hands on' approach with a 'can do' attitudePERKS Access to our awesome reward and benefits platform with cashback discounts at over 400 retailers such as Adidas, Woolworths, Coles, Ikea, Myer, Rebel Sports + more!
