Job Opportunity: Managing the hotshots operations for our Mackay Branch supporting our growing presence in the Queensland market. As a leading provider of transport services, Pep Transport is expanding its Hot Shot division to the eastern state Queensland.
Position: Mackay Branch Manager Role Overview: Working closely with the General Manager of Fleet and the WA hotshot depots, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Mackay branch, building relationships with new and existing clients while strategically identifying areas where demand is growing and there are opportunities to expand our transport services within the state of Qld.
This position requires a driven individual with a passion for the transport industry. A commitment to providing premium services, a proven track record in client management and a solid understanding of fatigue regulations and long-distance driving requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Organize and lead a team to ensure every hot shot delivery is serviced in a safe, professional and timely manner.Build relationships with new and existing clients both over the phone and face to face Ensure a proactive response to urgent freight requirements.Assist with forklift duties, including preparing freight for loading and delivery to customers.Be available for on-call duties after hours and on weekends where requiredManagement and training of drivers to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standard and compliance for timesheets and fatigue management documents.Qualifications: Minimum 5 years in operational management role within transport and logistics.Ability to think creatively and proactively solve challenges.Passion for the transport industry with a commitment to excellence.Exceptional people skills with a communicative and driven approach to sales.Understanding of fatigue regulations and long-distance driving requirements.Ability to provide premium customer service aligned with our core values.Flexibility to take calls after hours and on weekends.Forklift and HR drivers licenceHow to Apply: If you are a driven and proactive individual who aligns with our core values and possesses a thorough understanding of fatigue regulations and long-distance driving requirements we encourage you to click apply.
