Hallam Truck Centre has long been a PACCAR Dealer for the premium Kenworth and DAF truck brands, operating in the southeast of Melbourne providing sales, rental, leasing, parts and service for the full range of these brands. Consistent with our long-held vision and growth aspirations, we are now seeking an experienced Branch Manager for an exciting opportunity to join our team as we prepare to commence operations in a new territory to the North of Melbourne for the sale and support of Kenworth and DAF trucks. Flanked by our dedicated parts stores in Somerton and Ballarat, and augmenting our existing Melbourne operations, we are eager to provide customers in the region with market leading commercial truck sales, rental, parts and service support.
Reporting to the General Manager of Hallam Truck Centre, the successful candidate to this rare opportunity will have a proven track record in operations management, excellent leadership skills and a strategic mindset.

Opportunities to support community partnerships with our Group CMV Foundation Enjoy annual company events, Christmas hampers and other employee engagement activities Key Responsibilities Leading, motivating and supporting all employees to achieve defined business objectives Engage in business community activities with the aim of building local relationships and quickly growing business activity within the area Oversee recruitment planning and activities to ensure values aligned team members join and contribute as the business grows Actively contribute to the planning and building processes for the brand-new Dealership which is to be opened circa 2028 in Mickleham. Building and maintaining strong relationships with franchise representatives Taking ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction and service levels, ensuring prompt and effective resolution for any issues Managing and monitoring inventory and financial records Ensure regular staff performance reviews are conducted and training & development provided as appropriate What we are looking for An experienced and professional Business Manager with a track record of successfully operating a business with a sound understanding of the heavy trucking industry Previous experience in a senior management role would be an advantage A driven leader with a strong commitment to building a positive team culture & engagement Strong communication skills, both verbal and written High level of professionalism and business acumen.
