Book-Keeper

Your responsibilities will include: Responsibility for a portfolio of clients across various business sectors. Processing and maintaining sales and purchase ledger transactions, reconciling bank and other control accounts, producing and submitting VAT Returns for a variety of VAT schemes. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients and your team. Action client enquiries and liaise with the wider team as required. Some administrative tasks as required. Experience required/preferred: A good understanding of online accounting packages is preferred but not essential.
The records are kept on various accounting packages including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel. Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Position Details: The position is a full-time permanent contract working Monday to Friday and will normally involve bookkeeping at our office with occasional visits to clients.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
