Come and be a part of this success.About the RoleWe are seeking safety-focused Boilermakers interested in applying for upcoming opportunities with our passionate Operations Services Maintenance teams (fixed plant).We offer 7 days on, 7 days off (7/7) or 4 days on, 3 days off (4/3) rosters at our BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) mine sites near Moranbah (Goonyella, Peak Downs, Saraji and Caval Ridge). Fly-In-Fly-Out options are available, as well as Drive-In-Drive-Out. Bus-In-Bus-Out from Mackay or Rockhampton.Main responsibilities will include:Inspect, service & repair a wide range of mechanical equipment inclusive of (fixed plant structures e.g. wash plants)Execute general fabrication repairs and replacementsCarry out preventative, general maintenance and repairsUndertake training and upskilling as relevant to technical roleEnsure accurate completion of technical documentation, reports, and drawingsBe comfortable in the use of maintenance systems (SAP)Safety first with the ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a supportive team environment, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere and cultureAbout YouAustralian recognised trade certificate – (Boilermaker/Fabricator)Previous experience working in fixed plant maintenanceExperience with Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) is highly regardedA high safety focusAbility to work with minimal supervision and collaborate in team operationsFlexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated computer skillsC Class Drivers Licence mandatoryAbout Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing those who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
