Location: St Stephens Hospital, Hervey Bay with some travel to Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast
Remuneration: $43.95 - $61.08 phr + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

The Biomedical Technician (Biomedical Solutions Specialist) is responsible for providing expert domain knowledge, implementation approach and process design to the Clinical Informatics Team and Biomedical Areas across all UCH sites.
The Biomedical Solutions Specialist is also responsible for contributing to the overall support of biomedical systems across all UCH sites.

Essential: Qualifications in ICT Infrastructure, information technology and technical architecture in a clinical discipline Knowledge and ability with network management including: Installation and Configuration of peripheral devices and network components Fault Finding network communication issues Network security Highly developed technical infrastructure knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in network design, Data Centre design, Real Time Location Systems, Virtual Servers, Storage and wireless technologies Experience with Oracle Electronic Medical Record system. Experience with infrastructure design tools, infrastructure architecture design and integrated solutions. Must adhere to the values of the organisation. Desirable: Technical certification(s) in systems and networks Experience with medical electronics and or medical equipment Knowledge of Standards Australia and other statutory requirements regarding medical equipment Possess or obtain a Restricted Electrical Work Licence St Stephen's Hospital is proudly part of the UnitingCare family.
