Your part in St Stephen's Hospital team The Biomedical Technician (Biomedical Solutions Specialist) is responsible for providing expert domain knowledge, implementation approach and process design to the Clinical Informatics Team and Biomedical Areas across all UCH sites. The Biomedical Solutions Specialist is also responsible for contributing to the overall support of biomedical systems across all UCH sites.
Minimum Requirements: Qualifications in ICT Infrastructure, information technology and technical architecture in a clinical disciplineKnowledge and ability with network management including:Installation and Configuration of peripheral devices and network componentsFault Finding network communication issuesNetwork securityHighly developed technical infrastructure knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in network design, Data Centre design, Real Time Location Systems, Virtual Servers, Storage and wireless technologiesExperience with Oracle Electronic Medical Record system.Experience with infrastructure design tools, infrastructure architecture design and integrated solutions.Must adhere to the values of the organisation, i.e., focusing on our internal and external customers; striving to be a leader in our fields; taking personal responsibility for all actions, and constantly re-evaluating our service.Technical certification(s) in systems and networksExperience with medical electronics and or medical equipmentKnowledge of Standards Australia and other statutory requirements regarding medical equipmentPossess or obtain a Restricted Electrical Work LicenceStart making a difference today Our application process takes less than 15 minutes – Click the 'APPLY' button to be taken to our online application process and upload your resume and cover letter.
