About the RoleI'm seeking a Development Manager with an initial focus on developing battery storage projects. You will come from an engineering or project management background and will ideally have exposure to BESS or other renewable projects, even if not directly in the development phase. You will be joining an experienced team but will be able to work autonomously once established. Due to the growth of the business, there are plenty of avenues for professional development.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Development team throughout the planning and development phases; site identification, environmental approvals, grid connection, etc.Manage external consultants across a range of disciplines; technical, grid, environmental, etc.Manage and organize project documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements.Participate in stakeholder engagement and community outreach efforts.Assist in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project potential.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science, Business).At least 2-3+ years of relatable experience (renewable energy, infrastructure, property, environmental, etc.).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a range of stakeholders.Willingness to travel.Based in Sydney.How to ApplyIf you are interested and believe you have the required experience, please apply now with your updated CV and cover letter to Nathan Shackcloth.
