This role involves leading and mentoring a small team of Behaviour Support Clinicians, ensuring that quality services are delivered to NDIS participants. The Team Leader will also manage a small client caseload, providing expert support and guidance to ensure that behaviour support plans and interventions are effective and evidence-based.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and support to a team of Behaviour Support CliniciansComplete functional behaviour assessments and develop behaviour support plansEnsure adherence to NDIS Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices Rules 2018Monitor compliance with reporting timeframes and restrictive practice guidelinesContribute to the development of clinical practices within the teamFoster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadershipEngage in ongoing professional development and ensure team compliance with the Quality and Safeguards PBS Capability FrameworkEssential CriteriaDegree in Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, or Behavioural ScienceEligibility for registration with the relevant professional associationAdvanced or Proficient registration as a Positive Behaviour Support PractitionerExperience in managing and leading a team of behaviour support clinicians or other allied health professionalsExperience in conducting behaviour assessments for NDIS participantsKnowledge of restrictive practices and legislation, with experience in developing plans to reduce and eliminate restrictive practicesAbility to provide training and professional development in your field of expertiseUnderstanding of relevant NT and Commonwealth legislation and service standardsFlexibility to work in a dynamic environment and manage conflict effectivelyNT Driver's licence or ability to obtain oneThis is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals receiving behaviour support services.
