At Moorebank, we operate a 24-7 bakery which sees us running 12-hour day rosters in our production operation.
We have a variety of work patterns available, with shift penalties, weekend rates, and overtime opportunities enhancing the weekly earning potential.
About the opportunity: We are currently looking for experienced Process Operators/Intermediate and Qualified Bakers to join our Moorebank site.
In this role, you will perform in our production and slicing areas, which includes ensuring our production targets and compliance processes are met.
With a core focus on the health & safety culture here at Goodman Fielder, this role will also require you to follow health and safety procedures whilst carrying out a variety of tasks in the production and slicing areas.
Opportunities currently exist for: Early Week AM – positions available in production & slicing (Sunday to Wednesday)Early Week PM – positions available in production & slicing (Sunday to Wednesday)Late Week AM – positions available in production only (Wednesday to Saturday)Late Week PM – positions available in production & slicing (Wednesday to Saturday)You will be responsible for: Operation of machinery and equipment as per safe operating procedures.
Executes start-up procedure and machine/equipment set-ups, operational processes, and cleaning processes correctly.Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames.Complete Quality Assurance and Food Safety Induction and Competency quality assessment.
Attend all relevant training programs.Achieve AERR and Waste on target.Active participation and attendance of weekly, monthly departmental meetings.To be successful in this role you will need to: Effective verbal and written communication.Practice and display Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety standards.Quality awareness.Previous food industry experience or machine operation/process work is desirable.What can we offer you?
