In this role, you'll proactively assist the Assistant Vice President (AVP) Manager and Vice President to manage the workflow and completion of all Corporate Loans Administration (CLA) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in accordance with the bank's procedure manuals and operational guidelines.
What you'll be doing: Pro-actively manage all operational tasks for Corporate Loans Administration to ensure they are accurately completed and meet expected timeframes in accordance with the bank's policy and procedures.Identify possible areas for process improvement and engage with staff to contribute to building more effective processes to eliminate the possibility of errors.Manage approvals for funding rollovers, drawdowns, repayments, disbursements, and collection of fees for various products and operational transactions.Ensure strict adherence to Australian and Japanese regulations for customer identification requirements as outlined in the bank's Anti-Money Laundering policy for all authorities and variations to authorized signatories.Ensure operations comply with all financial regulatory obligations and conform to the bank's risk and compliance policies.Monitor and confirm daily Suspense Account Reconciliations and monthly reporting.Monitor and confirm daily PROactive Nostro Account Reconciliations.Archive transaction documents as and when required.Build and maintain good working relations and open communications with customers/external counterparties to provide a high level of service and professionalism.Ensure customer inquiries are followed up promptly with satisfactory outcomes.Assign work to staff, provide guidance, support, and ongoing training, monitor quality of work and progress, and provide regular status updates to AVP and VP.Manage, mentor, and develop team members.Build, collaborate, and maintain strong working relations and open communication lines with internal and external stakeholders while providing a high level of service and professionalism.Provide an environment in which all staff are encouraged to contribute and provide regular feedback.What we are looking for: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3-4 years of experience in a similar or related role within banking/financial services operations, with a sound understanding of Facility Agreements.
Basic accounting knowledge is desirable but not essential.
