Role Overview Join the ACT Senior Leadership Team as an Operations Manager, leading your region with 13 direct reporting Store Managers, making a positive difference for mycar.
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring your people, driving brand engagement in local communities, and maximizing growth and profit potential of the stores in your area. To keep our people, customers and community safe, you will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, industrial awards/agreements and relevant regulatory standards.
As people are at the heart of all that we do, your role will be based in-store with your teams to provide you with real time opportunities to lead, develop and mentor your team ensuring they perform, grow and thrive. You will lead by example, with the ability to communicate with people of all seniority levels and backgrounds whilst being an inspirational, energetic and passionate leader, showing an authentic curiosity.
Success Profile As a leader you enjoy having autonomy in your role, but equally embody team spirit.Adept in managing a P&L, preparing and executing financial budgets.You are a fast learner with the ability to pick things up quickly.Your career has included experience as a big box retail Store Manager (or equivalent industry experience) or a multi-site Leader.You have worked in the Automotive industry as a Mechanic or equivalent.
