Salary: $115,899 - $130,733 + 15% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation

The Role
The Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Land System Program Office (EWIS-L SPO) is seeking to fill the EL 1 Integration Manager position within the EWIS-L SPO.
The EL 1 Integration Manager will support verification and validation of materiel systems delivered by the Tactical Electronic Warfare (TacEW) Program and will be responsible for:
The management of the TacEW Integration Facility and direct supervision of one APS 6 Communications Engineer. Apply established technical, operational, professional and administrative activities, procedures, practices and project management methodologies. Establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder engagement. Responsible for leading various functions and coordinating inputs according to organisational practices, methods and standards. Compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. EWIS Land SPO is comprised of members from various geographic locations and disciplinary backgrounds with diverse skills working together to deliver and support capabilities to the ADF and external Government agencies. This includes Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robots, Deliberate Route Clearance as well as Tactical Electronic Warfare systems.

Key attributes and experience we are looking for:
Substantial track record of successful management of engineering projects in the EW, RF, systems engineering or software engineer domains using appropriate engineering practices; Ability to manage complex system installations, integration and technical regulatory requirements; Demonstrated focus on timely resolution of issues; A thorough understanding of engineering disciplines; Demonstrated experience managing teams in a complex environment; Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders; Sound commercial and business acumen and a demonstrated understanding of the Defence Industry sector in Australia; High-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
