Austrade Temporary Employment Register 2024 - 2025 THE ROLE:
Our Temporary Employment Register is open to anyone who would like to register an interest in temporary opportunities that may arise within Austrade. These opportunities may be based on the lands of the Kaurna People (Adelaide), Jagera and Turrbal People (Brisbane), Ngunnawal and Ngambri People (Canberra), Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Eastern Kulin (Melbourne) and the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation (Sydney). We would like to hear from all professions, including but not limited to:
Accounting, Finance Administration Communication Customer Service Digital Services Economics, Statistics Grant Management Human Resources (HR) Info/Comm Tech (ICT) Information Management International Relations Legal Media Marketing Ministerial and Parliamentary Policy Procurement and Contracts Program Management Project Management Property Security Trade and Investment We are also interested in candidates with specific experience in trade and investment advisory, and from those with sectoral expertise in fields such as:
International Education Infrastructure and Tourism Healthcare Agribusiness and Food Mining and Resources Defence and Advanced Manufacturing Energy Technology We welcome applications from people with backgrounds in both public and private sectors with a range of experience from diverse backgrounds. We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in working with Australia's international partners to tackle global challenges, increase international trade and investment attraction opportunities, understand and build client capability, protect international directions to keep our region stable and help Australians overseas.
We welcome applications from those with diverse backgrounds including people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, those from non-English Speaking backgrounds and people from all ages and genders. We welcome applications from candidates with proficiency in speaking and writing a second language, including Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Arabic and Portuguese.

ELIGIBILITY:
Australian Citizenship - Our successful candidate must be an Australian citizen. Security Clearance - Our successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline, Negative Vetting 1 or Negative Vetting 2 security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
