Aurecon | Lead Sustainability Consultant, Buildings

Details of the offer

Lead Sustainability Consultant, Buildings
As a consultant, you're no doubt aware of Aurecon - we've been a leading design, engineering and advisory company for decades. But why should you choose to join us? Every project Aurecon delivers leaves a legacy. Sustainability is embedded in decision-making. And every project is at the cutting edge of technical eminence. But it really comes down to one crucial question: what kind of world do you want to create for the next generation? The decisions being made right now will determine the future of everything - from the local community to the entire planet.
How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?
As our new Senior or Lead Sustainability Consultant, you'll be a vital part of the team changing how we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. You will be the lead sustainability consultant on various building projects, working with rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS, and the WELL Building Standard. You will also design pathways for achieving net zero carbon for clients.
What are we looking for from you?
You'll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future.
Experience in a similar lead/project manager sustainability role for multiple Green Star, WELL, NABERS, or ISC projects, including integrating sustainability outcomes from concept design to practical completion.
Accredited Professional status is preferred but not mandatory.
Ideally, you will have experience working on healthcare, retail, transportation, accommodation, and commercial projects.
A passion for sustainability and your own area of technical expertise are key. We acknowledge that the sustainability field is complex, so we welcome expertise from all disciplines.
Demonstrated experience fostering the growth and development of team members. As a senior consultant in our team, your role in mentoring our team members is also a key attribute we seek.
The right to work in Australia is required.
How will we show that we value you?
Genuine
flexible working that includes:
Remote/hybrid work practices that work around your circumstance.
Cultural holiday swaps
Up to 22 weeks of paid parental leave (in addition to Government provided parental leave)
Aurecon Design Academy, which earns you a Graduate Certificate in Design Management from the prestigious RMIT University.
A game-changing EAP service, Sonder - a digital care platform that delivers immediate safety, medical & mental health services to you and your family.
Ready to bring ideas to life?
Then please apply. Remember, it's you and how you bring ideas to life that are important. Your background, unique needs and individuality will be valued. Visit our website to learn more at
