What's in it for you? We are actively recruiting Audit professionals at the Associate and Senior Associate level to join our Financial Services Audit teams in Sydney and Melbourne. Our Auditor opportunities are offered on a flexible full-time basis. You'll help our clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your key responsibilities Leading fieldwork, managing performance, coaching and mentoring more junior team members and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagementsEffectively managing Audit processes with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters, including revenue, financial instruments and income taxesEngaging clients and providing advice and professionalism throughout transactions, including identification of areas for improvement in clients' business processesConstantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleaguesUnderstanding our clients' unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possibleExpertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting mattersWhat we're looking for Here's our 'wish list' but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. Proven experience as an Auditor delivering external audit and assurance engagements to clients in the financial services industryExperience leading the planning, execution and reporting on auditsProven track record with developing and maintaining client relationshipsExcellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to managementA degree and progress towards/completion of CPA/ CA ANZ or associated equivalentsIdeally, you'll also have: Experience in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting mattersApply now… we're over 9,000 perspectives in Australia and we're ready to welcome yours. The exceptional EY experience. It's yours to build. The salary range for this role is AUD 66,500 to AUD 113,000 inclusive of superannuation, dependent on skills, experience and work location.
