About the company/role:Bioanalytical laboratory that performs testing on clinical trial samples for vaccines, immuno-oncology and infectious diseasesBased in the Eastern suburbsSeeking an associate scientist position on an ongoing contract basis8hr shifts between hours of 6am -10pmAs the company is difficult to access via public transport, access to a car is highly regarded Duties:
Reporting to the principial scientist or laboratory services lead, your duties may include but are not limited to:Perform route sample processing including blood clotting, centrifuging, plasma collection, urine dipsticksCoordinate logistics and shipping samplesDocument laboratory work and resultsMaintain technical equipment and equipment logsWork safely in the laboratory with biological and chemical hazards Skills/experience:Bachelor's Degree in science majoring in immunology, biochemistry or related disciplinePrevious experience in a pathology laboratory in sample reception processing blood or urine samplesTraining and experience with Biosafety Level 2 techniques are highly regardedAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Apply!
