DELIVER is a dynamic initiative funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), dedicated to advancing in-home healthcare. The project is led by Western Alliance, a collaborative of 12 esteemed organizations in Western Victoria, in partnership with healthcare consumers, regional and rural health services, universities and primary healthcare providers across western Victoria.
The Associate Research Fellow will drive impactful research, scholarship, and creative activities within our multidisciplinary team. This position is suited to an emerging researcher keen to explore and build on new areas and foster research and researcher development to have real-world impact and contribute to a dynamic and enthusiastic research team.
You will play an integral role in conducting and advancing research within the domains of health economics and health services evaluation. Your focus will align with the DELIVER project, where you'll collaborate within a diverse multidisciplinary team to enhance healthcare delivery for elderly populations residing in rural and regional Australia, leveraging cutting-edge virtual tools for optimal impact.
As an Associate Research Fellow you will: Join a dynamic team to spearhead groundbreaking research, scholarship, and creative endeavours, cultivating impactful outcomes with expert mentorship. Assist with capacity building in health economic and evaluation across DELIVER partners while remaining up to date with current literature and methods relevant to this research program. Join collaborative ventures, engaging in unique and high-quality research and creative activities. Champion effective communication of your findings within our vibrant team, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and achievement. Drive real-world impact through your academic activity, leaving a lasting impression on both the field and the wider community. Facilitate and potentially take the lead in securing funding for research and creative initiatives. To be successful, you'll have: Post-graduate qualifications (a PhD or equivalent or Masters) in health economics and/or public health, or other relevant equivalent qualifications with substantive health economics components. Demonstrated experience or training in research. Demonstrated experience in health economics and evaluation. Capacity to contribute to teaching, research and administration. Ability to contribute to community engagement for research. Emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
