Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in undertaking ward/unit/service management by assisting with management responsibilities, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management.
About the Role: Reporting to the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager this role is integral to the division of Medicine, Cardiac and Critical care.
Duties for the role will include: Supporting and working collaboratively with less experienced members of the nursing team.
Maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
Providing proficient, person centred, clinical nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area.
About you: Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
