About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Network Operations Centre team as a Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Hospital Coordinator, where you will be responsible for:
Providing nursing expertise for specified individual patients/clients and/or groups/populations.
Working collaboratively with other health professionals and in partnership with women, children, their families, and other agencies to ensure optimum health outcomes.
Providing specific support to the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Manager, Midwifery Unit Manager (level 3 or 4) in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the unit, ward, or service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-graduation experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with individuals as well as fostering productive working relationships across disciplines.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines whilst working under minimal supervision.
