(pro rata)  – RN2A – Temporary Part-Time, working 32 hours per week up to 13 February 2026 About the Role: This is an opportunity for a passionate Registered Midwife to join our Women's and Paediatric Clinic as an Associate Midwife Unit Manager.
In this role you will contribute to the well-being of mothers and children within our community.
As an Associate Midwife Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting a dedicated team of midwives and healthcare professionals.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, and promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional leadership skills, strong clinical expertise, and a deep commitment to continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the team while fostering a culture of professional development and excellence.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, OR be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
