Clients include:Principal ContractorsConsultantsSpecialist Geotechnical ContractorsMining and Energy CompaniesPrivate Owners/DevelopersGovernment AgenciesInsurersLegal FirmsResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage fieldwork programs to install groundwater monitoring wells, measure groundwater levels, carry out infiltration and hydraulic conductivity tests and collect Acid Sulfate Soils (ASS) and groundwater samples.Carry out groundwater seepage and dewatering analysis in 2D and 3D using computer modelling software.Prepare design groundwater level assessments based on collected data and historical monitoring information and review work produced by others.Analyse field data including groundwater level measurements, infiltration data, hydraulic conductivity tests to derive design parameters and groundwater quality laboratory tests.Prepare dewatering management plans and ASS management plans for civil engineering construction works.Prepare high quality technical reports.Build client relationships through regular contact with existing and new clients.Provide technical leadership to project teams and junior staff, and safety leadership in identifying and alleviating/eliminating high priority safety hazards.Participate in training activities, mentoring and transferring knowledge to junior geotechnical engineers.Prepare proposals including determining methodology and compilation of cost estimations.Perform desk, field and laboratory studies for groundwater and dewatering investigations relating primarily to civil engineering construction work.Manage site investigation of small to large scale engineering projects including hydrogeological assessment/testing.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a related Science or equivalent as a minimum with primary skills and experience in one or more of the following:Geotechnical EngineeringHydrogeologyGroundwater Engineering ideally related to the civil construction and infrastructure industry.Contact InformationVicky DickersonPhone: 0433962192Title: Principal ConsultantEmail: ******
