Associate Director, Transaction Banking SolutionsCommonwealth Bank of Australia, Sydney, AustraliaOpportunity to join CBA's Transaction Banking Solutions teamBe part of this progressive and innovative environmentSydney CBD based roleSee yourself in our teamTransaction Banking Solutions provide tailored working capital solutions, including payables, receivables, cash and treasury management and more, that allow our clients to innovate and revolutionise the way they can interact with their customers, drive cost out of their business, mitigate fraud, operational and transition risk, and deliver business growth faster with analytics and insights from the largest Australian bank.Do work that mattersAs transaction banking product specialists, we support the Client Relationship Management team in delivering Total Capital Solutions to institutional clients.As the Associate Director, you will support the Director in key tasks which include but are not limited to:Provide unique insights into market conditions impacting CBA and its clientsDevelop, lead and own relationships with client C-Suite and Treasury executives to enable the capture of first mover opportunities with clients across the TBS product suiteHave a deep understanding of clients' relative operating and financial strength and identify viable improvement opportunitiesDeliver core insights and expertise to develop and maintain client plans by identifying opportunities and associated client engagement strategiesWork in partnership with internal business partners to ensure the strategy for the Ecosystem is consistent with the overall IB&M business propositionUnderstand IB&M's product and solutions capabilities (with particular focus on transaction banking) and contribute to their continuous development and improvementAnalyse, interpret, structure and negotiate transactions opportunities to ensure optimal outcomes for IB and IB clientsLead a client deal team within an IB&M ecosystem to deliver client centric capital solutions across IB&M's product/capability suiteLiaise with colleagues and ensure key stakeholders are engaged on proposed transactions and opportunities in a timely fashionAdhere to the risk appetite of the Bank and ensure the team meets compliance, conduct, training and regulatory obligationsWe're interested in hearing from people whoAre committed candidates, seeking to build on a strong foundation developed in investment banking, a corporate or institutional bank or debt advisory firm.
