What role will you play?As an Associate Director in the Australian Prudential Obligations team, you will work with a wide range of senior stakeholders across the Commodities and Global Markets group and support groups.
You will provide advice and approvals to Commodities and Global Markets on the application of prudential requirements to transactions and new business activity. This includes the interpretation of prudential requirements and regulatory engagement.
What you offerExtensive experience in a front-office risk role or Line 2 oversight in Financial Markets ideally with experience in Credit Risk or Market Risk.Strong understanding of financial products and Basel/Australian prudential regulations.Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage various stakeholders for appropriate risk outcomes.Ability to take complex concepts and present them in a clear compelling manner.Intellectually curious mind and be a critical independent thinker who enjoys taking responsibility for challenging tasks.Experience in Commodities will be highly regarded but is not essential.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us. About the Risk Management GroupIn our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
