Associate Director - Project Finance

TGRC are currently working with a leading player in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to creating sustainable and innovative energy solutions. Their mission is to accelerate the transition to a cleaner energy future through the development and deployment of cutting-edge renewable energy projects and are now seeking an Associate Director of Project Finance to join their team.In this role you will be responsible for structuring and negotiating financings at both the project and corporate levels, plus leading the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and divestments across their portfolio.Your role:Develop and execute financial structures for project-level and corporate-level debt, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.Lead negotiations with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure financing for renewable energy projects.Analyze and structure debt financing solutions to meet the needs of various projects and corporate strategies.Manage the financial aspects of M&A activities, including valuations, due diligence, and deal structuring.Develop strategies for the divestment of assets to align with company goals and market conditions.Apply knowledge of energy markets and project finance structures to optimize financing solutions and project execution.Work closely with engineering, development, and other teams to understand project requirements and align financial strategies with project goals.Your background:Around 7-10 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on renewable energy projects.Strong understanding of energy markets, engineering principles, development processes, and project finance structures.Proven track record of structuring and negotiating complex financings, including project-level and corporate-level debt.Experience in leading M&A and divestment transactions, with a strong grasp of financial modeling and valuation techniques.If this sounds of interest I'd love to chat so please apply or get in touch - ******
