An exciting opportunity has become available for an energetic Assistant Village Manager to join our dynamic team at Coastal Waters. This friendly community offers breathtaking panoramic views of St Georges Basin, in the heart of Jervis Bay, this seaside community offers incredible resort-style facilities and a vibrant and supportive village environment.
The successful candidate will join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract and will primarily be responsible for supporting operational functions of the village. You will be managing day-to-day activities and competing priorities, ensuring the village is properly maintained for the enjoyment of the residents.
Reporting to the Village Manager, your key accountabilities in this role will include:
Supporting the day-to-day operations at the villageImplementing operational plans & projectsEnsuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the villageImplementing company policies, strategies and plans to maintain residents' satisfactionAssisting with running of village events, social calendar and activitiesContributing to effective resident management to foster strong customer relationships and support delivery of village maintenanceHelping with the preparation of budgets, assist with budget issues and financial processingSupporting the provision of a safe working environment for all staff, contractors, visitors and residentsAssisting with the compliance of Environmental, Health and Safety at the villageAbout you:
Your proactive and customer-focused attitude will see you succeed in the role, as well as an ability to work autonomously to deliver professional outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key to your success in this role, as will:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent computer literacy – including the Microsoft Office SuiteA keen eye for detail and ability to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations for the residents and their familiesA First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate, or be willing to completeWillingness to learn and professionally develop, along with a proactive and can-do attitude.Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check & will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October, with supporting documentation prior to joining.
