Assistant Sommelier – Michelin Star restaurant – Perthshire One of the top restaurants in Scotland Great opportunity with development and growth Lots of company benefits As Assistant Sommelier, you will assist the Head Sommelier in creating and updating the wine list.
You will have a good understanding of food pairings and can recommend these to guests.
A deep knowledge of wines is essential for this role.
You will provide excellent customer service and discuss with guests their preferences to suggest suitable wines.
To qualify for this role, you should have experience in a similar environment, either in a Rosette or Michelin Star restaurant, and possess WSET Level 3 or above.
Wine should be your passion, and you should be knowledgeable and helpful when guests are choosing wines.
You will report to the Head Sommelier and Restaurant Manager and will have the opportunity to work alongside one of Scotland's best chefs.
