Our Assistant Restaurant Managers take pride in preparing and serving delicious golden, pan-fried schnitzels with a smile. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager with setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results. As an Assistant Manager your role will involve: Leading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operations Enhancing guest satisfaction by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actions Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking and cash handling Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld Meeting restaurant financial objectives What we are looking for: Leadership experience in hospitality particularly within high volume operations A love of food and a focus on exceptional customer service A constructive, positive and considerate communicator Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure Ability to work a flexible rotating roster including evenings/ weekends Passion about building a positive culture within the restaurant– making Schnitz an enjoyable place to work.
