Assistant Property Manager / Property Manager Hesperia is seeking a high performing Assistant Property Manager / Property Manager to join the Industrial Team. You will assist with all property management related activities for all properties internally managed within the Hesperia portfolio. You will join an ambitious and high performing environment, work closely with senior members of the firm and be supported by a highly capable team.
This position is offered as a full-time permanent position based at our office in Subiaco. We are supportive of the candidate starting in December 2024 or postponing the start date to January 2025.
Initial responsibilities will include:
Property Administration: Document control for the Property and Facilities Management requirements, assist with developing operational policies and procedures, development and management of project work plans and procuring construction works until the handover to the purchaser or tenant. Property Management: Assist with the monitoring of adequate insurance policies, lease administration and occupancy issues. Tenant Liaison: Liaise effectively with tenant representatives, attend to tenant enquiries or complaints and communicate with the tenants on all service matters. Project Finance: Issue accurate Purchase Orders as required, assist with reporting on actual to budget expenditure and monitor financial transactions relative to lease and contractual obligations. Strategic Relationships: Identifying and building strategic relationships. Project Governance: Ensure all safety and environmental audit action items are addressed and appropriate documentation maintained. About You
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role with a tertiary qualification in a property field.
Required skills / certification:
OH&S General Induction for Construction Work or equivalent Real Estate and Business Sales Representative Registration Own vehicle and drivers' licence for site-based attendance when required Experience in contractor management in commercial and industrial building environment Keen interest in the property sector, possess commercial acumen, able to work independently and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
