The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Venue Manager and offers an extraordinary opportunity to lead a team in delivering the daily operations of the venue.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the opportunity to create a unique dining experience for our guests, take good care, and lead a dynamic team with integrity.
A few of your responsibilities: Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targetsOversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance managementAssist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating proceduresEnsure that all areas of the business comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol program and relevant provisions of the Liquor ActAssist in managing the selection, training and development of all employees to ensure timely recruitment and career growthWhat we are looking for: Management experience within a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beveragesDemonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expensesExceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guestsCurrent RSA Statement of AttainmentFlexible with availability for work over a 7-day rosterAbout you: As an expert in Management, you understand the essence of leading a team to deliver a world-class service.
