The Role:
As the Assistant Human Resources Manager, you will join a team who prides themselves on excellence, service, integrity and accountability.
In this generalist role, you will support over 400 colleagues and play an active role in the operations of the HR department, as well as assisting with the implementation of the HR Plan at the property.
This role will ensure we continue to support a culture of care not only for our colleagues and guests, but our community and environment.
Your Responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the recruitment process for all colleagues Developing strong relationships with the Hotel's leaders, creating and maintaining an internal talent pipeline Assisting the Human Resources Manager with the coordination of training initiatives and events Acting as a point of contact for our Payroll team and proactively responding to Payroll queries Assisting with driving colleague health and wellbeing initiatives
This Role is Suited to a Candidate who:
Holds 1-2 years of experience in a HR leadership role Is an outgoing, people person who supports an inclusive workplace Has strong knowledge of recruitment practices, performance management Is proficient with Microsoft applications Is a NSW Return to Work Coordinator in line with state requirements Demonstrates knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Hospitality Industry General Award (2020) Has the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
