About the team The FSR Projects and Enhancements team is within the CFO Division, Financial and Shared Services Branch and Finance Systems and Robotics Section.
The Finance Systems & Robotics Section manages the enterprise resource planning and robotics process automation systems that supports the Department to deliver: financial management, services and reporting, travel and credit card functions, process automations and much more.
Our current systems are: TechnologyOne Expense8 Blue Prism Kofax Capture Link4  Our activities include: systems upgrades and maintenance incident management services updates compliance and efficiency enhancements process automations capital and BAU funded project delivery The opportunity The FSR Projects and Enhancements function has three primary components: as concierge, the front door to FSR for clients to engage with early on and to manage client engagement services Business analysis service FSR P&E will work with our clients to understand their needs and requirements before we bring in the technical SME's to propose solutions project coordination and support, development of project artefacts, budgets and tracking to support the FSR function to deliver work packages and projects What's in it for you?
This role will assist in the delivery of exciting projects; TechnologyOne module implementations - Inventory and Timesheeting, the assessment of new technologies via proof of concepts current project - accounts payable processing uplifts through intelligent document processing, and expanding our RPA automations.
Our ideal candidate This role is an exciting role for someone that is not necessarily technical in ERP or RPA systems but someone who: is curious about getting the most out of systems has financial, corporate, ICT and/or project experience is highly organised and loves a good plan thrives on working in a dynamic environment has great interpersonal skills, can really engage with clients is a great communicator This is an opportunity to work alongside and support the technical systems administrators and developers to deliver great ERP & RPA initiatives across the department without having to have the technical skills.
Desirable qualifications  Qualifications in finance or business discipline or working towards  ITIL4 Foundation Certificate  Desirable experience in Experience providing leadership and management of teams   Service delivery management   Project delivery coordination  Stakeholder management Operational experience in corporate, financial, ICT or project management functions  ERP/RPA/ICT Project experience  What you will do The key duties of this role are: Lead, manage, coach and develop the FSR Projects & Enhancements team resources.
Project life cycle management and coordination projects and enhancements in conjunction with the SMEs and Technical Leads.
Establish and maintain clear project plans, strategies and necessary project artefacts.
Project monitoring, tracking and reporting in collaboration with the FSR leadership team.
Proactively engage and communicate with stakeholders to effectively participate.
Builds and sustains relationships, identifies and liaises with a range of clients and stakeholders.
Promote collaboration and cooperation by working proactively and effectively with key areas.
Evaluate, interpret, and apply appropriate risk assessments for FSR activities/advice to support the department's governance, performance, and risk framework  Interpret and apply legislative instruments, Australian Government policies (including internal policies) and the financial framework to departmental specific functions, activities, and objectives.
Promote and exhibit behaviours consistent with the APS Values, General Duties of Officials, and accountability framework.
Eligibility To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
Notes A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette.
The department does currently offer flexible work opportunities for many roles.
This vacancy is can be performed from a number of locations and flexible or remote work arrangements may be considered.
