Limestone Coast Local Health Network, Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service Salary: $28.10 - $28.93 p/h + 25% casual loading - Casual (working over a 7 day roster) - AIN Overview This role presents an opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience in nursing activities, as part of the professional and dedicated team at Mount Gambier Hospital.
Assisting with the provision of professional high quality care aimed at improving patient health outcomes, you will assist the Registered Nurses with routine tasks with patients.
This will include personal care duties for patients, as well as technical support functions at the level of setting up for nursing procedures, cleaning equipment and managing local stock levels.
You will help to maintain a physically and culturally safe environment for patients and staff, alerting the Registered Nurses to any patient or visitor concerns, questions or complaints.
You will work at all times under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and your work may also be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse within a care team.
