Company Description Mercure Melbourne Doncaster is a 183 room & suite hotel, Australia's first of the next generation Mercure brand, introducing approachable elegance in an untouched pocket of the Eastern Suburbs. Featuring a restaurant, indoor heated swimming pool, elite fitness centre, expansive outdoor terraces with views from the Yarra Ranges to the CBD, and six event spaces for up to 200 guests with dedicated outdoor terraces to provide seamless indoor/outdoor flow.

Job Description Assist in leading the Front Office Team to deliver peak moments to our guestsCreate welcoming places and memorable experiences for our guests and your teamProvide excellent customer service and resolve guest issues in a timely and professional mannerEmpower our team to always go the extra mile for our guestsCoach and mentor Guest Service Agents and Assistant Managers to grow their careersMonitor and report on key performance metrics to identify areas for improvementParticipate in the development and implementation of front office policies and proceduresWork closely with the Operations Manager on projects, reports, and initiatives in the hotel and with the whole hotel team Qualifications Previous experience in leading a dynamic teamService-focused personalityPrior experience working with Opera or a related systemUnderstanding of hotel property management systemsConflict resolution and negotiation skillsFlexibility to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts as requiredAbility to train and mentor the teamRSA and First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement Additional Information What is in it for you: Training & development within an experienced team environmentCareer opportunities within our hotel and/or the Accor GroupWorldwide Accor Hotel accommodation discounts, free on-site car parking, yearly free 1 night's accommodation plus moreOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
