The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for one or more operational departments in addition to overseeing the business office. This position will report to the Executive Director who serves as the community leader and is responsible for the financial, human resource and operations management of the community.

Responsibilities: Support the Executive Director and fulfill the role of Executive Director in the absence of such a leader, providing guidance and direction to residents, residents' families, and associatesInteract with residents and families to build relationshipsResponsible for details of operations including housekeeping, culinary, activities, etc.Assist other members of the management team with budgetary issuesSubmit reports as directedPerform administrative functions in support of the Executive DirectorPerform all other duties as assigned by managementWork with other members of the management team to market and manage the communityServe as Manager on Duty ("MOD") as assignedOn call 24 hours a day for emergency/crisis situationsWork weekends and holiday rotation to assure appropriate coverage on weekends and holidaysSkills/Requirements: 1 or more years' previous management experience in the senior housing industry (AL, MC or LTC)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced computer and Microsoft Office experience with ability to create reports and analyze operational issuesA desire to work with senior adultsAbility to solve complex operational and people problemsMust possess or be willing to acquire a valid driver's license to drive on company time as neededMust be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessarySagora does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies or fee based recruitment services.
