Our Newcastle based Cyber Security firm is currently seeking an experienced, dedicated and proactive Assistant / Executive Assistant to support our executive team (CEO and COO) and assist in managing the daily operations of the Company's various business interests.About the RoleBased in Newcastle, NSW, this role is a rare & new opportunity to support the Executive and leadership team for The Alpha Echo Group during a period of scale up. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, leveraging their exceptional skills in administration and customer service to support the day-to-day activities of the executive and the broader AE team. This role has recently been established and will provide an opportunity for the right individual to shape this position to suit the needs of our company. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients, including work with the Department of Defence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing the CEO/COO's schedules, coordinating tasks, appointments and meetings with internal and external parties.Manage communications on behalf of the CEO/COO, including emails, phone calls, and other correspondence.Coordinating and preparing for management and project related meetings including booking, catering, agenda preparation, minute taking and proactive follow up of action items.Creating written correspondence, presentations, reports and documents as required.Workflow management and prioritisation or signoffs to ensure deadlines are met.Creating and maintaining filing systems and electronic filing of all relevant information.Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks as needed.Conduct research and compile information for decision-making.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executives.Handle confidential information with discretion.Support the business manager in coordinating travel and events as required.Assisting with personal tasks for the CEO/COO as appropriate.Support general office operations and assist team members when necessary.Essential Skills and Experience:Proven experience as an assistant or executive assistant, preferably within a consulting firm or government sector.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint) and other relevant software.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.High level of professionalism and integrity.Desirable Skills and Experience:Familiarity with the Department of Defence or related public sector organisations is highly desirable.Experience with project management tools.Interest in Cyber Security.Knowledge of the consulting industry and public sector processes.Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in consulting.AGSVA issue Security Clearance highly desirable.Why Join Us?At Alpha Echo, we value our employees and are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
