The Assistant Director, Accessibility Projects and Support, leads the coordination of the department's role in the Set the Standard Report and the Dignified Access and User Experience of Parliament House Review.
This role also supports broader departmental strategies and initiatives focused on culture and inclusion.
The Assistant Director, Parliamentary and Governance, ensures the department meets its parliamentary and corporate governance obligations.
This includes managing the delivery of the Corporate Plan and Annual Report, parliamentary coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
The Assistant Director, Governance and Secretariat, oversees compliance with legislative and governance requirements, including parliamentary coordination, audit and risk management, and secretariat support for internal governance committees.
This role also ensures effective records management and policy consistency within the section.
The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in coordinating high-profile initiatives or programs within a government context, aligning with the organisation's strategic objectives.
You will be a strong collaborator with well-developed project planning skills, capable of achieving quality outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment.
Effective and respectful collaboration is essential for success in these roles, both internally with stakeholders and externally with other government departments and industry partners.
Candidates will have experience working in organisations with a focus on sound governance and respect for protocols, demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain effective foundations and systems to ensure ongoing success.
