Randstad has partnered with a federal government agency for aEL1 Procurement Capability - Assistant Director to join the team. This role is a 12 month contract and is located in Geelong.Your new role as EL1 Procurement Capability - Assistant Director:The EL1 Procurement Assistant Director is a pivotal within the team, tasked with executing complex tasks under broad directives. It involves leadership, decision-making, and management of resources and personnel, with a focus on resolving challenges across procurement functions. The position requires independence for problem-solving and policy advice, ensuring high-quality outcomes.Key duties include:Lead the Procurement Capability Programme and implement training recommendations.Support engagement and communication on procurement principles and processes.Create and deliver procurement content and notices for the agency.Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and analyze the procurement capability questionnaire.About you:Must be an Australian CitizenExperience in procurement, counsil, state or federalThorough familiarity and comprehension of the Australian Government's procurement policy frameworkProficient in communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Capable of prioritising tasks and effectively managing multiple deadlines concurrently.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
