The Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO) is the lead geospatial and imagery intelligence organisation in Defence. Its purpose is to provide geospatial intelligence from imagery and other sources in support of Australia's Defence and National Intelligence Community (NIC).
AGO is recruiting for geospatial managers in Foundation Geospatial Branch (FGB) to operate as Assistant Director Foundation Business Operations.
As a Geospatial Manager you will:
Lead high performing teams of technical subject matter experts, providing direction and management in accordance with strategic objectives.Lead the evolution of geospatial data production, management and dissemination across Defence and the national community.Develop innovative and modern solutions that enable the delivery of critical missions essential to Defence operations and the Australian Government.Work closely with national and international partners and multinational spatial communities to deepen partnerships and expand collaboration.Develop your expertise through relevant training and participation in associated industry, national and international forums.About our Team FGB is the centre of topographic foundation geospatial data, services and cartographic production for Defence.
Located in Bendigo, FGB is a critical enabler of Defence and the NIC; providing highly accurate data, products and services that underpin Defence capability and high level decision making.
