Position Overview: Assistant Directors within the Infringement Review Office are leaders responsible for guiding the team in undertaking our functions under the Road Transport (General) Act 1999 and associated legislation. They are able to effectively prioritise work to achieve both organisational and operational outcomes. This means they possess the ability to manage a large regulatory team while simultaneously supporting the Executive to deliver on Access Canberra priorities.
Key Responsibilities: Excellent communication skills and a people-first approach in day-to-day workplace challenges.Manage the implementation of the Traffic Camera Expansion program in line with the Territory's Road Safety Strategy 2020-2025.Drive service improvements to facilitate community engagement with parking and traffic infringement matters.If you believe you have the requisite skills, knowledge, and behaviours to thrive in this role, Access Canberra would love to hear from you!

Eligibility/Other Requirements: You must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia to be appointed as an Authorised Person under the Road Transport (General) Act 1999. Note: This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
