Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact in the property development industry? We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Development Manager to join our highly regarded client in Brisbane. In this role, you'll play a key part in the successful delivery of a variety of Residential, Commercial/Industrial and Retail projects while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from seniors within the team.
About the Role:
You'll be involved in projects ranging from fitouts to high-rise towers, across a broad spectrum of sectors including civil and built environments. This is your chance to dive deep into the property development world and learn from the best.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth project delivery
Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders
Help plan, execute, and close out projects, ensuring all milestones are met
Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
Play a role in quality control, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Manage consultants and design teams, tenders, contractors, and reports
Oversee contract administration, programming, and cost reporting
Contribute to feasibility analysis and value management processes
About You:
A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, or Property Economics (or currently studying)
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
A positive, professional attitude with a keen interest in Project Management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project; experience with Estate Master and Bluebeam is a plus, but not essential
