We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Loveland Agri Products Group business on a full-time permanent basis.
A typical day may include: Effective management of the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.Assisting in Balance sheet reconciliations including identifying and investigating variance and following up to close out variances.Assistance in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports.Assistance in Divisional month-end, quarter-end and financial year closure.Maintain the pricing and rates file ensuring accurate and timely rebate distribution.Assist in implementing accounting systems and control procedures, data cleaning and implement initiatives to increase ongoing accuracy of all master data records.Assisting in other ad hoc tasks as required. To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.Extremely high level of accuracy, efficiency and strong attention to detail.Ability to multi-task, work independently, and work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrated success and comfort in a fast-moving environment with high transactional volumes.A Bachelor's Degree in related field.CPA Qualified or working towards obtaining.Previous SAP Experience.Intermediate to advanced excel skills.PowerBI exposure.
