At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training. Temporary Full-Time role up to 11 April 2025 Location: Grafton with the flexibility to work from Coffs Harbour $115,655 Package includes salary ($93,295 - $102,941), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. About the role Provide a full range of asset services to a group of schools within the assigned area of the regional North Coast Asset Management Unit (AMU). Support with the implementation of facilities management programs and maintenance works, to provide high quality, professional service delivery. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other asset management staff to support the design, development and construction phases of projects. Prepare project briefs, status reports, financial information, and other associated documentation to inform decision making on the delivery of facilities management projects in schools. About you Project Management and or Construction Management experience are desirable. Intermediate to advanced level of computer skills and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role Current NSW Driver's licence and ability and willingness to travel across the assigned Asset Management area of North Coast NSW. As a condition of employment, successful candidates who have not previously worked for the department will be required to provide a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance number.
