Our client is a leading property landlord, seeking a dynamic and experienced Asset Manager to oversee their prestigious mixed-use asset in Brisbane.
The Role
As the Asset Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for optimizing the presentation, functionality and success of the property. Your primary focus will be on achieving cost-effective outcomes while ensuring a safe and positive environment that enhances customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic financial goals. Monitor and report on financial performance, implementing cost-saving initiatives where possible. Prepare financial forecasts and variance reports to inform senior management decisions. Lead the planning, execution, and completion of major capital expenditure (CapEx) projects. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Oversee compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards throughout project lifecycles. Supervise the onsite facilities team, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the property. Address tenant concerns promptly, fostering positive relationships and enhancing tenant satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the property to ensure compliance with quality standards. Provide strategic input into the long-term development and improvement plans for the asset. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management within the property sector, preferably with mixed-use assets. Proven track record in budget management and delivering CapEx projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
