It will also be required to work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and lead asset management improvement initiatives.The position includes direct supervision and support of one direct report. The position will be required to manage consultants and contractors on a needs basis.Key responsibilitiesProvide SME input into the maintenance of V/Line's ISO55001 Asset Management System.Ensure compliance with SLA contractual obligations and ONRSR Accreditation.Manage annual AMAF requirements and contribute to the maturity assessment of the Asset Management System.Act as an internal business consultant to develop and lead asset management continuous improvement initiatives to support the asset management maturity capability uplift.Develop and execute annual assurance and audit plans, preparing detailed reports for management.Provide independent advice to ensure validity and goal achievement, identifying improvements and recommending risk mitigants.Collaborate with external transport asset management agencies and risk/auditing teams to recommend improvements.Act as the Enterprise Continuous Improvement Business Partner, managing non-conformity and corrective actions.Represent the team in assurance and auditing working groups, producing reports and recommendations for the Executive.About youMinimum 7 years' experience in an Asset Management role, with at least 5 years' experience in an asset-intensive organisation (eg, utilities, manufacturing, transport, renewables).Demonstrated knowledge of strategic asset management, including proven ability to apply ISO55001:2014 principles.Demonstrated ability in compliance management, asset assurance, and audit activities.Experience in leading asset management maturity assessments.Proactive problem solver with strong people management skills.Thorough and methodical, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the capability to act as an internal business consultant and look after contractors and consultants.Strong interpersonal skills, with good active listening skills and the ability to build relationships.How to applyPlease use the 'Apply' button to submit your application, including a current resume.The recruitment and selection process may include aptitude assessments, behavioural and/or technical interviews and employment references.Successful applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment screening including, probity (police) checks, medical assessment, and Australian entitlement to work.
