In this role, you'll: Joining NSW TrainLink's Network Resilience & Operational Readiness team, this newly created role will see you act as a key interface between NSW TrainLinks' operational areas and 3rd party service providers to ensure NSW TrainLink fulfills its obligations as a RollingStock Operator under Rail Safety National Law.
In addition to providing specialist technical rolling stock and fixed asset advice, and building strong relationships with the service providers, you will also assist senior management with developing a framework to manage those relationships and service of arrangment with third parties.
You will oversee and ensure that we have robust systems and governance in place.

About you You are a qualified Engineer (Degree qualified) and/or have experience in a relevant engineering practice with demonstrated experience acting as a key interface to a variety of internal and external stakeholders within an operational environment.
You are a seasoned leader with a governance/assurance background who is comfortable taking on this role as the lead technical liaison with multiple stakeholders covering multiple disciplines.
You take a big-picture approach to problem-solving and don't shy away from having tough conversations or making difficult decisions in the interest of our customers, the people of NSW.
You are equally comfortable in either a team or autonomous work environment and will have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the application of asset management principles and practices.
You have a wide technical knowledge and experience base as well as knowledge and understanding of railway operations related to the areas of rolling stock, facility and infrastructure assets.
